WHERE I LONG TO BE
By WILBUR SHERON ' I S& a wbflii where th# heerVjj not grieving; A world where a smile is not dccciv- Nγ ~ . , A world where men are not believing The logic of error's plea. It is a world where- ti..- load is lighter: A world where layman's day is brighter j N Where friendship's bonds are true and tighter, And that'B where I long to be. In this world-to-be the skies are bluer, The love tof lhait to tnaji is truer, And the libiiof of doing falls to the doer Who reaps the royalty. A world where the star of hope is shining gleinal, btjpt and Hot declining; Inhere «n aching heart is not repining, And that's wfiere I long to be. IWe destruction waits for the cunning lender, The one who takes must also render. There'll be no room for the idle spender Lounging in luxury, tfhere man shall live with man united That wo:Id shall be by justice lighted; tk p«c», for all* wrong thing* are righted. So there's where I long to be. —"National JUp-!3av."
