At a mroti.ig of tho Civil Servants at We.-tpors this evening tho following resolution was unanimously carried: — ■•That this meeting of Civil Servants in the district of Westport is unanimously of opinion that tho time has arrived when tbe Government should bring into force t;n adequate superannuation and pension scheme whereby employees, who have in many instances rendered life-long local service to tbo colony, may be enabled to end their days in comfort."
