Manawatu Times, Volume XXVII, Issue 7798, 29 July 1903, Page 3

SALE OF DAIRY FARMS

The frequent plea for the bursting-up of the big estates of this colony to provide land in small sections for men of moderate means in mafiy instances materialises without tho int. rvention of the Government, and in the case of Messrs T. Clark and Sons' property on much more liberal terms than the Government could hope to offer. On Saturday next, Ist August, Messrs Abraham and Williams Ltd. (in conjunction with Messrs Johnston and Sim) will offer this eplendid property in 29 sections, ranging" in area from 50 to 100 acres at their auction rooms, Eangitikei street, at 1 p.m. The property is situated in one of the foremost dairying centres in New Zealand, and is only about two miles distant from Bongotea and* Glen-oroua. It is all dry, warm, healthy country possessing the rich charscteristics of the Rongotea and Glen-oroua country, eminently suitable for dairying or the rearing of young stock. The terms are so exceptionally easy as to be well within the reach of all, and the reserves so very moderate, that the sale may be looked upon as practically unreserved.

About the computer-generated text

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is a process for automatically extracting text from scanned pages. OCR enables searching of large quantities of full-text data, but it is not 100% accurate. The level of accuracy depends on the print quality of the original newspaper and its condition at the time of microfilming. Newspapers with poor quality paper, small print, mixed fonts, multiple column layouts or damaged pages may have poor OCR accuracy.

The page where this item appears has an estimated OCR accuracy of 98.62%.
