SHOOTING.
; A socond-cTass team of the- Manchester Rifles fired a-joiatch with the ■Feilding Mounted Rifles, on the latter's range, on Saturday afternoon in vile weather. The: mounted men were successful in beating their opponents by 48 points, but the shooting was very poor all round. Conditions—7 shots at 800 and 500 yards.
