MAFEKING'S MAYOR FETED.
Mr Frank Whiteley, Mayor of M Peking during the siege, arrived in Bradford on Monday (says the Daily Mail of July 24), and is being lionised. To-day he will be entertained at a mayoral luncheon, and to-morrow there is to be a banquet in hid honour. Mr Whiteley intends to settle in the Bradford district., giving up business. The bombardment of Mafeking injured his property, lie states, to the extent of ■£iOOO.
