"HUMPTY DUMPTY" PANTOMIME.
The above pantomime, which is to open at His Majesty's Theatre nexifc Monday and continues on Tuesday
and Wednesday,- is described as being full of wholesome-humor, •arid may be simply described as a procession of comicalities. There is an abundance of pretty, catchy music, bright, pictttresque costumes, handsome young ladies, graceful groupings, and novel ballets with beautiful and yrtistic scenic settings, the "March of the Allies" being a special feature of the : pantomime. The transformation
scena in six scenes, entitled' "Dreamland;" painted by the Harry Whaite Studios, is superb. Lennon, Hym;tn, .and Lennon provide an amusing acrobatic speciality, "Fun in a Restaurant." Messrs • Stepnenson and Linley are said to be exceedingly fortunate in securing a remarkably strong combination. Every role that has the slightest claim to pi'ojninence is given to an artist who makes it conspicuous for some special feature. The box plan for the season opened morning, when a good demand for 'seats ; tookj)la6e, and a successful season is assured. "Humpty Du'mpty" will be played on Monday and Tuesday/ and the tuneful musical extravagamsa, "The Jam of Uathay," will be ■the farewell attraction on Wednesday.
