I ♦ A WILL IN DISPUTE. • The adjourned- application by certain Natives to have the titles of Horowhenua No. 14 set aside came before Judges -Davey ' and Mackay at Wellington on Wednesday. . Counsel for Wikitoria Kemp said there would' be no appearance on behalf of the successors - of Major Kemp, one of the reasons being that . the enormous cost Kemp had been pu^to had practically absorbed his whole estate:--^ Kemp's will was produced and the hearing • ■* of applications adjourned until probate had been given. The will provided that a fulllength portrait in oils of Major Kemp is to be given to the town of Wanganui ; that alf • his decorations, including . his New Zealand . Cross and the sword presented to him by the Queen, are to go to his nephew, Harare KitirangT; that his funeral expenses, not exceeding.£loo, are "to be paid out of his estate; that all the balance of his property, real and personal, is to go to his daughter upon trjist,' to convert it into money, and out of the proceeds to pay. to Siv Walter Buller £6810 and interest at 0 per cent, for a debt owing, ajjdV.-subject to that payment to pay all otherl' debts, and the .balance to go to Kemp's daughter absolutely.
