THE celebrated Clydesdale Horse Orkney, imported from Scotland by Mr. P. Nimmo. ORKNEY Is a beautiful bay horse, 6 years old, 16£ hands high, of excellent bone and substance, of good action, and of the purest Clydesdale blood. Orkney was got by that far-famed horse Clyde, who when a two-year-old, gained the first prize at the following places At Paisley, Hawston, Johnstone, and Kilbarchan, the principal breeding districts of Scotland. He also gained the Highland. Society's first prize at Glasgow, as a three-year-old, and also the first prize at Dumbarton, a 9 a year-old, and was allowed to be the best bred Clydesdale horse in Scotland. Orkney is out of Rose, a famous black Clydesdale mare, got by Chance j she has gained several first prizes as a brood mare, at each of the shows at Gargannock and Stirling, where her stock has never been beat, they haying gained twelve first prizes, Orkney gaining ten of them. Terms:—£lo each mare; half cash at the time of serving, and the remainder at the end of the season. CINIZELI-I WAS THE DAJf OF THE MABQUIB, Who won the 2000 Guineas, 1862, and ran second for the Derby, 1862, being beaten by only half-a-neck, and beating all others off by a length-and-a-half.
