WAIPA COLLIERY COMPANY.
NEW RAILWAY. [HY TKLKURAI'It.—I'B.KSS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, This Day. The Premier turned the first sod of the Waipa Railway and Colliery Company's railway at Ngaruawahia yesterday. In a speech Sir Joseph Ward discounted the idea that the Government desires to dislocate industry by State interference. He commended the enterprise which the Waipa Company was displaying.
