WELLINGTON, Sept. 1. A NEW FEVER HOSPITAL. The Wellington Hospital Trustees decided to-day to approve of the erection of a new fever hospital at the rear of Mount View Mental Hospital as recommended by the medical staff and the Health Department. . A BEQUEST. The late Mrs John Evans Brown whose husband, is also dead, and who was for some years a member of Parliament, has left about £1000 worth of her estate to the Otaki Hospital for consumptives. Mr J. E. Brown (better known in Canterbury as "Yankee Brown") was the . founder of the Christchurch tramways, and owned the Swan Estate. His first wife was a sister of the late Hon J; T. Peacock. He left some years ago to take up his residence ,as formerly in the United States, and the Mrs Brown; who made this bequest was his second wife.
