WOUNDED BY GERMANS AT BUCHAREST.
London, July 13. Mrs Alfred Stead, wife of the famous Daily Express correspondent, has received news of an attempt on the life of' her husband at Bucharest, the capital of Roumania. Mr Stead was attacked by Germans, on the night of June 30 % He was very seriously injured, and was mo- J montarilv blinded.
