Motor Koad to Milford,

Tho advisability of constructing a motor road from Invercargill to within Bix miles of Milford Sound, via Te Anau Downs'; station, the Eglinton Eiver, and the Hollyford Valley was urged by; Mr,' A. He suggested that' a tunnel, should be constructed through the; Gertrude saddle; This funnel would be the link between all the wonderful tourist attractions of Southland.
