BOARD AT VARIANCE Under the Dairy Export regulations certain information relative to exports is required to be furnished to the board. This has not. been done by certain companies, in spite of requests and warnings by the board that its regulations must be complied with. The information Bought by the board relates to prices paid for produce sold 1.0.b., and prices realised on consignment. Tho object of the board in demanding this information is to enable it to collect statistics and draw conclusions from them that will bo at-the service of and of value to the export aspect of: tho industry considered as a whole. At the board meeting yesterday the chairman (Mr. William Grounds) moved ''That the Minister of Agriculture bo supplied with information regarding the default of live companies which have refused to supply information that they had undertaken to supply under the terms of their export licenses, with the request to the Minister that the licenses of these companies be revoked." Tho motion, seconded by Mr. W. Bryant, after considerable discussion, was declared lost by 9 votes to 3. For the motion were Messrs. Grounds, Hryant, and Corrigan; against,- Messrs. \V. Goodfellow, D. Fulton, W. D. .Hunt, W. Tympany, W. A. lorus, T. A. Winks, H. T. Chapman, J. lline, and W. E. l'eynoMs. lv accordance with notice giveil) at the previous meeting, Mr. J. K. CorriganHo read that clauses 0 and 8 of the export license, insofar as they apply to f.o.b. sales outside Great Britain and Europe, be allowed to remain in abeyance for the remainder of the season. The motion as amended, was carried by 7 votes to J>, the voting being: For, Messrs. Goodfellow, Corrigan, Tympuny, Reynolds, lorns, Wynks, Chapman; against. Messrs. Grounds, Vulton, Hunt, Bryant, ami Hinc.
