A DUTCH TENNIS CHAMPION
When .the tournament for the covered courts championship of Switzerland came to an end, many prominent players representing Switzerland, Holland, GermaJ3Jj Hungary, and Czecho-Slovakia had participated. The final resulted in a surprising victory by the young Dutch champion, Yon Kehrling, who last year won many tournaments in Hungary, Germany, Spain, and Italy. Timmer, who_ hopes to play this year for the British Wimbledon championship, is only 20. He beat Yon Kehrling by three sets against two. Kleinschroth (Germany) and Lasch (Switzerland) were the defeated semi-finalists, states the St. Moritz correspondent of the "Manchester Guardian." The Swiss players, Lasch and Ferrier, won the men's doubles championship, beating the Dutch champions, Timmer and Bryan, in the final. The ladies' singles „ championship was won by the young Spanish, player. Mile. Dalvarez, who, with Yon Kehr'liug. won the mixed doubles against Mrs. and Mr. Rohi-er, the Czacho-Slova-kian champions.
