FIRE AT PALMERSTQN.

FBI TELEGBAPH— PEESS ASSOCIATION.] • PALMERSTON, 17th March. J A very fierce fiie illuminated Mainstreet, near the Post Office, to-night, and quickly drew a large crowd. It proved to be a two-storied wooden building' occupied by Mr. Denton, photographer, the Licensed Victuallers' Association, - and ethers. The brigade got the fire under. The building was owned by Mr. Warburton, and insured for £150 in the New Zealand office.- Mr. Denton holds a policy for £435 on certain contents, in the Standard oriice. The origin of the fire is unknown.
