Edwin Wider, cashier at the Russo- Chinese Bank in New York, who absconded after robbing his employers of £60,000 and taking half a million in bonds belonging to the bank's customers, but who was subsequently apprehended has pleaded guilty to the charges against him. He will be sentenced on Wednesday next.
