NORTHERN LEAGUE FOOTBALL.

[BX IELEGKAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, Ist November. The Auckland Rugby League has been advised by the secretary of the English Northern Rugby Football Union that it has been affiliated to that body. In a letter tho secretary states that the English Union will recognise the Auckland League as the governing body in New Zealand, and no visiting New Zealand teams will be acceptable to the English authorities except under the auspices of the Aiickland body. All players also who wish to. sign on for English clubs will now require transfers from the Auckland League before they will be allowed to play for any club in the Old Country. Mr. L. H. Todd will act as delegate for the Auckland body on tho English Union.
