A LAWSUIT AT WOODVILLE.
[bf telegbaph— pkess association.] Woodville, This Day. The first of a series of bush fire cases is being heard iv Woodville at present. The parties belong to Mabarahara, and the plaintiff claims £100 damages through a firo lit by the defendant destroying his property. The defence set up is that the fire originated either on the plaintiff's property or on a neighbour's, apart from the defendant. The case occupied the Magistrate all j'esterday afternoon and evening, and is likely to last the best part of to-day.
