The Public Truet Office Consolidation Aot Amendment Bill, which the Treasurer has introduced, provides for investments up to three-fifths the value of real estate in the place of one-half, the former rate. The travelling expanse* and oootigenciee in oonnection with the Ministerial tour through the native districts amounted to £680, of which the Hon. J. Carroll alone held £487 19a 9d.
