RAGLAN: FLAX OPERATIONS. (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) November 12.
The flux mill belonging to Ciptain Johnstone ii just being completed. This will make the seventh flax mill erected here within about a twelvemonth. These are all in full work, and three others are in preparation. The mills completed and working full time blong to the following gentlemen : — Mcssra. WUsod, Moon, Sutton, Wallia, McDonald, Mitchell, and Captain Johnstone. Tue other mills being erected are by Messrs. Ogilvie, of' Auckland, McDonald. «nd La Trobe. Raglan will therefore coon be as celebrated for its flax manufacture aa it already ia for its heathy climate and beaatiful scenery. r i be 'Flora Macdonald '- was to leave here ou the i l'-th, with a full cargo of flax.
