BURNSIDE STOCK SALES.

Fat Cattle.—l2B head were yarded. A good demand was experienced throughout, and all sorts were disposed of at prices generally equal to, and in some cases, an advance on late quotations. Best bullocks sold at LS to L 9 12s 6d, medium L 6 2s fid. to L 7 15s, best cows and heifers L 6 5s to L 8 2s 6d, ordinary L 3 15s to L 5 Fat Sheep,—2s4l penned. A splendid demand was experienced all through the sales, and last week's pricks were maintained. Best crossbred wethers sold at 14s 9d to 15s 6d, extra ■heivy 17s 9d, medium Us to 13s 6d, best crossbred ewes 12s to 13s 9d, ordinary 10s 6d to lls 9d Fat Lambs.—Only 70 penned, which sold under brisk competition at up to 11s 3d. Fat Pigs.—Only 43 penned, representing all sorts except baconers, and all sold at satisfactory prices. For. baconers there are numerous enquiries. Suckers sold 5s to 5s 9rl, slips lO.s to 12s, stores 13s to 16s, porkers 18s 6d to 255.
