TOKOMAIRIRO FARMERS' CLUB.
A. meeting of Committee was held on Tuesday : Present—Messrs J. " Duthiej (President); Capstiek, Pat on, Inglisj Fraser, Hislop, Hewitsqn, and Gordon (Secretary). ' • .•- Ci,UU KKSBIiVB. A telegram' was read from Mr "W. A. Murray, ' M. H. 11.,' mentioning that a, separate Act would bo" necessary to the Club getting a title to their reserve, and requesting that full particulars be sent him. >■'••: ..... A letter was read from Mr J. L. Gillies, explaining that from the position of the reserve a new Act was unnecessary, arid that he would explain the matter to ' Mr. Murray. ' * ' ' " The telegram and letter wove received. The Secretary 'mentioned that Mr J. E. Brown has furnished him with a " tracing of the reserve free of charge. The thanks' of the Club were voted to Mr Brown. The following tenders for the lease of the reserve for' 12 months "were opened : — F. Grant, £3 ; Jaa! In g lis 5 £4 2s 6cl ; D. M'Kinnon, £5 10a ;"J; Waters, ££i 10s. The latter was accepted.
