A PLEA FOE CLEMENCY. LONDON, April 20. Great Britain telegraphed to Soviet Russia, urging that the remnants of General Denikin's army should he treated humanely, pointing out that General Denikin's men were willing to conclude an armistice. Tho Moscow re'ily, which was couched in the politest diplomntic language, evaded the question. It urged Great Britain to bring pressure to hear on Hungary to release the Bolsheviks, including Bel a Kun. Great Britain has sent further telegrams, but no reply has yet been received.
