(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONP_N_.) LONDON, November 7. A. F. Wilding is in Stockholm, rcprceenting Australasia in the World's Covered Court Champion-hips. Two motchea wero played on Sunday in th. Gentlemen's Singles—A. F. Wilding beating C. Wennergren (Sweden), and M. Decugis (Franbc) defeating R. S. Barnes (England's representative). In Wilding's set the scores were 6-0, 6-3, 8-6; in the other ono 6-1, 6-2, 5-7, 6-3. Next day chief interest centred in the matoh betwee_ Wilding and H. Kleinschroth. The German player was in his best form, and although the New J_e_k-der won a love rubber, it was either match, the last set running to no fewer than twenty games. Wilding showed rather in-and-out form, many of his drives finding the net. His play was af~ect_d to some extent by bad*light, and towards tho end artificial light was resorted to. In the end Wilding was the victor, the score being 8-G, 6-4, 11-9. Yesterday, in tho semi-final round,. Wilding disposed of G. Setterweil (Sweden's representative) by 6-0, 6-0, 6-3. After the fine form shown the previous day by the Swede against M. Decugis, hopes had been cherished of a great match between him and the world's grass court champion. As a fact, however, Wilding, who was at his boat, and showed splendid form at all points of the game, won quite easily, Setterweil failing to win a game in either of the first two sets..
