Fires are the order of the night at present, one oh Saturday night in Wellesly Street, another at Mount Eden on Sunday night, and three houses deatroyed in Newton Eoad. News has been received that a 10 roomed house belonging to Mr Me Faden, at Wainui, has been burned. Sir W. Fox and Mr Glover, (American tomperance lecturer), commence their crusade to-morrow. The "Wellington Football team is expected to be in Auckland soon, arrangements are being made to receive H;betn.
