HUNUA S CATARACT.—June (left) and January photographs of the 70ft falls show the potential value of this source as a water supply. The present flow is 5,000,000 gallons & day. Papalcura township is drawing its supply from the stream near the falls, and the catchment area in the vicinity has been considered by the Auckland City Council in connection with its proposed extensions.
