The following are the results of the weight guessing competition in connection with the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Show: —

Kemp, Waimata North, 7981b5, tied for 2nd, to divide the prize. Commended: Gordon Lamb, Papatoitoi, 7951b5; Mrs Cowan, Harp of Erin, .00 lbs; and XV. Papesch, Ohaupo, 7931b5.

Actual \.:eight of sheep, 1741b5.— Walter Storey, Kihikihi, l"2lbs. Ist. Hy. Moody, Khyber Pass, 1791b5, 2nd. Commended: Herbert Mullins, Ardmore, 16Slbs; A. McNiehol, Cleveland, ISOlbs; Thos. Gill, Pakurangi, lSllbs.
Highest Guess for Weight of Bullock," 12321b5: lowest> guess for weight of, bullock, 5971b5; highest guess for weight of cow, ...lbs; lowest guess for weight of' cow, 4751b5; highest guess for weight of sheep, 3751b5; lowest guess for weight of sheep, 12.1b5. Champion: W.G. Mackay, Paterangi, Waikato: 101b out in bullock; Gib out in cow, 131b out in sheep: total 291b. Commended: W. J. Hunter, Ohaupo: J. J. Eybiirn, Paterangi. Nearly all competitors over-estimated the weight of the sheep, and under, estimated the weight of the cattle.
