Amongst those to be indicted are the following memberi of Parliament: — Messrs Rowlands, I). Sheehy, and Gilt.

District Judge Rawton is noted for meeting out justice to bankrupts, and this sitting of the court is no exception. A bankrupt named Walsh, who hud been spending money on the deferred payment sections instead of paying his creditors said in his examination that the Land Aot proteoted his seotion from his creditor). The Judge interjected, " But the Land Aot will not protect you from getting six months imprisonment. " Finally the Jndge adjourned the examination to giva the bankrupt time to pay his creditors in fall, or go to gaol.
