THE ELECTIONS.
Napier. — Returns so far received for Olive are — Ormond, 321 ; Sheehan, 252.
Auckland. — Whitaker's present majority for Waiptv is 90. Four stations to come in will not affect his return. — City East election : Speight, 671 ; Clark, 363, — Bay of Islands election. Lundon's present majority is 41 over Williams. Other returas to come in. — City East. — Clark, 363, Speight, 671.— Waipa.— Whitaker was returned "with a majority of 107, McMinn only polled 49.— Northern Maori Electoral Districts.— Honi Nahe is now leading , Sydney Taiwhanga second. — Bay of Islands.— Lundon's present majority "is 59. There are two stations to come in ; the result is nofc likely to be affected. Christchurch.— Result of the Christchurch election — Sir George Gray, 1315 ; Andrews, 1250 ; Stevens, 1250 \ Richardson, 1227 ; Treadwell, 548.
