CONCERT BY PUPILS,

Tho second annual concert was given by the pupils at Solway College on Saturday evening. There was a good attendance of parents and friends, and the concert went with a good swing.

The Rev. Robert Inglis, M.A., spoke in terms of appreciation of the good work done by tho College staff and the progress made by the pupils. The following programme was submitted, the finished manner in which the various items were rendered reflecting great credit upon the pupils and also showing the careful training of Mr A. B. Wallace (musical director), the teachers (Misses Moncrieff and Jones), and the Rev. L. Thompson, M.A.: — Quartette, "Grand March" (2 pianos), Rose Percy, Rita Evans, Eiri Knox and Emma Dickens; action songs, junior students; piano solo, "Tempo di Ballo," Carrie McGregor; class singing, "I Know a Bank"; piano solo, "Allegro," Nellie Stewart; duet, "Morning Mood."
