SUPPOSED SUICIDE

A miner nimed Kennedy, about 60 years of age, was discovered dead in his hut at the old diggings at noon to-diy. He had bled to death fiom an apparently self inflicted wound in the arm.
Deceased was underdtuod to have been an officer in the Confederate army during the American Civil .War.
