! The death is announced at Sydney of Mrs Maria Butler, at the age of sixty-seven.' Mrs Butler was the widow of th© late Mr Gilbert Butler, and was for many years resident n n Christchurch. She" was th© mother of Mrsi Eden George, who is now resident in Sydnfey. Mr Eden George was in business in Christchurch Jor several years, and was Mayor of the city for a i term.
