The Commission of Inquiry appointed to investigate, the allegations of over-crowding the troopship Britannic will open to-mor-row. Owing to the Imperial authorities not 'being represented, the Commission is experiencing some difficulty in determining the course of procedure. y The Orient troopers in quarantine are reported to bo progressing satisfactorily. Tho men, with the exception of some dozen who were brought in close contact with, the - small-pox patient, are still on the vessel, and fairly* comfortable. Two more deaths have occurred among the- Britannic troopers, making sis sine© the vessel arrived here. The. latest are Private L. EL Marcks, of pneumonia; and Private H. W. Craig, also of pneumonia. Private Marcks belonged to Maheno, Otago, and Private Oaig to Ponsonby, Auckland.
