MAYORAL ELECTIONS.
7 ■ [Per Pbess Association.l TIMARU, Nov. 20. Councillor John Hole has been elected Mayor unopposed. Mr W. Recce has been declared elected unopposed as Mayor of Christchurch. Mi* T. H. Davey, the retiring Mayor, being the only person nominated for St Albans, has been declared elected. Nominations for the office of Mayor of Lyttelton closed a*t noon to-day. Messrs W. Radcliffe, the retiring Mayor, and Colin Cook were the candidates nominated. The nominations for the mayoralty of Kaiapoi for the ensuing year were received at noon td'-day, when the present Mayor, Mr E. Feldwick, and Mr W. Parnham, were nominated. The election will be held on Wednesday week.
