WELLINGTON SUBURBS SEAT.
[Per Press Association.l WELLINGTON, April 3. Mr A. R. Atkinson, who contested the city election, and finished fourth, is announced as the Opposition candidate foi the Suburbs. Mr Hislop writes : — " Wher proceedings were first taken against Mi Wilford, I signified that it would be better if they were successful, that I should not be looked upon as a possible candidate For a time it seemed impossible to obtair another candidate, and I then wayeredii my resolve. When, however, a few days since I was informed .that upon full con sideration Mr Atkinson was again ready foi the contest, I saw him, and was pleased ti find that this was so.
