[Per Press Association.! MASTERTON. Jan. 25. Sergeant Bernard Diamond, Y.C., late of I the Royal Horse Artillery, died yesterday |at the age of sixty-six. The deceased I served twenty-one years in Her Majesty's service, nineteen of which were spent in India. He was in possession of the Victoria Cross, the Punjaub medal, the Indian Mutiny medal, and a good conduct medal. He will have a military funera).
