DUKE DONOVAN.
The Eeal Duke of Pobtland. Donovan's victory in the Lancashire Plate brings the total of the Duke's winnings since the beginning of last season up to within a fraction of £100,000, out of which sum Donovan himself has contributed nearly half. Semolina's success in the Boscawen Stakes at Newmarket on Tuesday adds, says the Sportsman, £600 to the amount won this season by the Duko of Portland, who is credited with £71,486 10a to date.
