Mr W. Izard, solicitor, will preside, and no doubt there will be a large attendance. Lecture. — The lecture by Mr A, H. Noblo, entitled "Chemistry of Coal," which was unavoidably postponed last week, is to be given in the hall of the Christchurch Working Men's Club, at eight o'clock, this evening. The synopsis to bo submitted is of a most interesting character, being made most attractive by the introduction of several brilliant chemical experiments. Tickets of admission will be obtainable at the door for ladies and visitors. '
