Sailed— Wanaka, for Nelson. Murray, for Nelson and West Coast. Oaxabtt, Dec. 24. Cleared— Ada Melmore, Cassy, for London, with a, cargo of wool, tallow and skins, value £40,000. ABBIYAL OF THE S.S. AEAWA. Poet Chaxxbbs, Dec. 24. The s.s. Arawa, drawing 2ift sin oft aud 19ft forward, crossed the bar at 7.45 a.m. She brings 3000 tons of cargo, 58 saloon, 50 second, and 145 third-class passengers, besides 235 immigrants, for all ports. The Northern passengers leave this afternoon by the Wairarapa, 110 immigrants being for Northern ports. All enjoyed excellent health. There were no deaths. Mrs Watt, an immigrant, waa confined of a daughter. The passage from .Plymouth occupied 45 days ; actual steaming time, 41 days 5 hoots. The total distance ran was 13,167 miles. Duszdht, Dec. 23, .Arrived— Stella, from the Coast. Kawatiri, from Wellington. Vairarapa, from the Bluff. Colonist, from Kaipara. Sailed— Stella, for Ljttol ton. Jessie Headman, ship, for London, with cargo of wooL The Arawa waa ten miles off the Bluff this evening. She will be into Port Chalmers early in the morning.
