Ashburton 288 197 Longbeach 80 74 Hinds 36 28 Bakaia 110 172 Wakanui 57 20 Pendarvis 34 50 Totals 605 541 Majority for Ivess, 64. Mr Ivess Bpent tbe day at Bakaia; Mr Saunders at Ashburton. Mr Ivesa was carried on the shouldora of tho crowd on hia arrival at Ashburton. Tho poll will be officially declared at noon to-morrow.
