FATAL AOOIDENT IN THE RANGITATA.
♦ On Feb. 6 a man, named John Fulton, was drowned in thiij river, about five miles below the railway kV jge, in attempting to cross from the south side to the island. There was another man, name unknown, with him, who managed to get out, very much exhausted. The body of Fulton was reoovered on Feb. 8, about a mile from the accident.
