OBITUARY

MR W. H. CROPP

We have to' record the death of one of our oldest .townsmen, Mr W. li. Cropp, late of Parawai. Mr Cropp was for many years an engineer ait , Messrs Price Bros.' foundry, and was respect id by' all with whom he came into contactHe was associated for many yeans with the Church of durst, and was its senior o'der. He went to the States 6om© years since* on a prolonged -visit to his son and daughter, who reside at* Seattle. Hie was taken ill and passed way on May 29. He leaves three sons and four daughters to mourn his loss, Mr C. W. Cropp, now in London, Mr H. Cropp, whose home is in New South Wales, but is now in the Australian Expeditionary Forces in France, and Mr W. J. Cropp, at Thame*. His daughters are Mrs E. H. Taylor, Parawai, and Mrs J. Towers, of" Thames, Mrs Leila. Ayton, Seattle, fthd Mis* Hetty Cropp, til London. Mr Cropp wdl be deeply regretted by a very large circle of friends.
