EXHIBITION AMUSEMENTS.
"WONDERLAND" ACQUIRED.
A feature of Auckland's big exhibition aext year wiil be the amusemeuits, and an important announcer mient made by Mr Bria Doyle, who has the contract to supply the whole ,bf the amusement programme, is-that he haa secured the whole of the "Wonderland" equipment 'Which formed such a big attraction at the Christchurch exhibition. The faot that what constituted practically the whole of the aide shows: at Christohuroh, is to form only a part of the Auckland scheme; should' serve to indicate how ambitious Mr Doyle's syndicate: really is. At the end of the present month Mr Doyle leaves for England and America in search- of further attrao tion^ The "Wonderland" plant has been purchased at a cost of £3250, •and represents a particularly < good bargain on the part of the syndicate, for it was originally equipped at a cost of over* £20,000. It includes an electric light and power plant, which alone is considered to be. worth the money paid for it by the syndicate, and will provide sufficient light and power for the requirements of the whole exhibition. The attractions 1 include a remarkably fine, water chute, a large toboggan, minature railway, and a score of other unique features. After tne Chnstchureh exhibition, " WonderlancP' was installed *at Miraxniar, in ; Wellington,. and proved: a big attraction in the Southern city. In commenting' on the; purchase, Mr Doyle remarked: "We are going to «xcel Christchurch exhibitioni, for, as you see, we have secured, in one pop, Chrietchurch's greatest, attraction, and it is only to be part of our show."
