Nominations.

Auckland, This day. The nominations for Waikato were Messrs Whyte and Russell. For Franklin North, Messrs W. F. Buckland and F. Lawrie were Dominated.

For Auckland West, Messrs Goldie, Shera, and Morrison were nominated. The show of bands was for Goldie 106, Sbera 62 and Morrison 50.

The following was the show of hands for those nominated for Newton,: Messrs Withy, 153, J. A. Tole 111, Garratt 45. Wellington, This day.' The final returns of the Maori Districts have at last come to hand. For Southern Maori the figures are Pratt, 140, Ellison 103, Kahu 103, Tikao, 72. Taipua has teen elected for the Western Maori District with 1691 rotes, Te Wheoro being next with 1067 and the remainder with small numbers each.

Napieb, This day. The nominations at Waipawa were as follows: Messrs Harker, Lasbelles, Sutton, and Tanner, show of hands being in favor of Mr Harker. A poll was demanded.

Haweba, This day. For Egmont the nominations were Major Atkinson and Mr McGuire. The proceedings were disorderly, and the show of hands was in faror of Mr McGuire. Mastbbton, This day. The show of bands was as follows :— Beetham 123, Hogg 65, Hawkins 64.

Havelock, Saturday. Nominations for Waimea-Picton seat were made to-day as follows: —C. H. Mills, A. P. Seymour, and J. G. Harkness. A show of hands was in fa?or of Mr Mills.

Marton, Saturday. The nominations for the Baogitikei seat to day were:—Messrs B. C. Bruce, P p Arkwright. and J. Ste?ens. A show of hands was in favor of Mr Brace

Oamabf, This day. At the nomination of candidates for Oamaru to-day, those proposed were T. W. Hislop, W. H. Firth, and "John Church.

Chbtstchitbch, This day. At the Akaroa nomination, the show of hands was as follows : McGregor 31, Arm* strong 26, Joblin 12, An son 10, Barnett 9, Thaeker j. A poll was demanded. At Sydenham nomination the show of hands was as follows :—Crewes 87; Tay- | lor 83.—At St. Albans the show of hands ! was—Garriok 120, Beeves 30. —At Lin wood the show was—Laughrey 109, Flesher 106, lleese 30, Partridge B.—At Lyttelton the Bhow was—Joyce 37, Allwright 28.—At Heatboote the show gave Mr Jonei a large majority over Mr Hopking.—There was a good deal of uproar at Sydenham and Lin wood, but the others were orderly. Timabu, This day. The following were the nominations :— Messrs Bichard Turnbull (.auctioneer), and Edward George Kerr (newspaper proprietor). There was a good orowd, and some fun and|badinage, but all passed off quietly. - Gbetmouth, This day. The nominations were Messrs Joseph Petrie and Arthur Bobert Guinness. The show of hands was, Petrie 87, Guinness 37. DvsnLtiix, This day. The Mount Ida nominations were as follows: Mews Soobie MaoKenzie and 1 Owen Hodge. j
