I We are glad to be in thei position Ito contradict tho report as to tho . death of Pelorus Jack. Mr. W. T. ISond, of Nelson who returned home by the Pateena yesterday, states that ho and others saw Jack in the water on Monday night, and that ho followed the Pateena for miles. Mr. Bond has soon him many times, but never saw him so frisky as he was on Monday night.
