TREGEA.—On the 26th ultimo, the wife of Mr. John Tregea, of this town, of a son. MARRIED.
THOMSON—COATES.—On the 28th April, at Christ Church, Nelson, by the Eight Rev. the Bishop of Nelson, Henry, fifth son of the late Mr. William Thomson, shipbuilder, Glencaple, Dumfries, Scotland, to Mary Ann, eldest daughter of Mr. Giles Coates, Nelson. • DIED. HATNES.—On the 2Sth April, in.her 86th year, Mrs. Elizabeth Haines, the mother of'Mr. Thomas Butler, of Blackland Farm, the oldest female, and probably the oldest person in the province. Notwithstanding heT great age, her faculties appeared unimpaired to the very last moment of her life; she saw, heard, and remembered more accurately than many persons of less than half her age, and even on her death bed strongly manifested that kind attention to the wants of others, and that reluctance to give the slightest trouble, for which she is well known to have been always so remarkable.
GAUKROGISR.—On Sunday last, at 10 a.m., at his residence, in the Wood, Thomas Gaukroger, aged 49 years, after a short illness.
