WEST TAMAKI.

West Tamaki, in common with other places, has been affected with the influenza scourge. An outbreak has occurred at the Chinese gardens, one death having occurred, the deceased being Mr Louie Shoon The body was removed to the Otahuhu Church of England mortuary, and the funeral took place yesterday, the Rev. H. Mason officiating. A number of other Chinese are affected. With a view to combating the outbreak, a number of Otahuhu residents thoroughly disinfected the Chinese quarters on Wednesday evening.
