FAVORS A REPUBLIC. (Pei-: Pres-r Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. Colonel Bell, Opposition candidate for the Raglan seat, addressed 600 persons in the Town Hall on Thursday night on "Reform" party lines. He caused some surprise by saying that the trend of events in the Old Country was in the direction of abolition of the House of Lords.
