DEATH OF SYDNEY TAIWHANGA
Auckland to-day. Sydney Taiwhanga died last night at Whakatane. It is not yet certain whether or not this will cause a new election for the Northern and Eastern Moari electorates for which Taiwhanga was a candidate. Wellington, to-day. Sydney Taiwhanga, ex-M.H.R., died at Whakatane lasfc nighfc. He had been suffering from chest complaint. Deceased was somewhere about 65.
