Inval made play, followed by Madame Dv Barry, Bay Archer, and Mycenae, with Kldotto and Eakring filly next, and Rylstone bringing up the rear. After rounding the hstel turn Inval was joined by Madame Dv Barry, and these went down the hill slightly in front of Bay Archer and Dominica, while Tarn Glen headed the others into the Swinley Bottom, where Dominica took second place, Madame Dv Barry going on third from Bay Archer and Ridotto, the laat there being Parole, Mycense, and Rylstone. Upon enter, ing the old course Dominica drew up to the neck of Inval, and in a fow strides more assumed a slight lead, the pair being followed by Tarn Glen, Ridotto. Madame Dv Barry, and Bay Archer, with West Wind in advance of the remainder to the Brick-kilns, where Bay Archer waa beaten, and Ridotto went on fourth, in advance of Parole, fifth. In the straight Dominica still held a slight lead from Inval and Tarn Glen, and so they came on until a quarter of a mile from home, when Parole and Ridotto came up on tho outside. The former was beaten in the next few strides, when Ridotto drew clear of West Wind andMycente, and though he tired very much from the distance, he maintained his lead to the end, and won by half a length ; a head only separated tbo second and tbird. p Tarn Glen was fourth, Rylstone fifth, Parole sixth, Dominica next, and the last two were Madame Dv Barxy fvjicL Eakring filly, who

In rounding the hotel turn the lot went in Indian file, intervals of a couple of lengths . separating them. Thus they ran to the Swinley post, where the foremoßt .three widened the gap somewhat from the .rest. In going through the bottom Verneuil was leading four or five lengths, and Isonomy had taken closer order with Exmouth, whom he joined on entering the Old Course, where Touchet was still last. Shortly afterwards Verneuil begaa to oome baok a bit, and) Ex* mouth ran into seoond place, lasulaire going on third, and so to the brick-kilns, where the Bix runners took much closer order, and at the beginning of the bend Vern«uil was joined by all the others with the exception of Touoket and Jannette. Coming ' into the straight Verneuil waa beaten, and Insulate was left in advance of Isonomy, Touohet, and Jannette, ef whom the' lastnamed was beaten at the distance, and with Verneuil and Touchet also in trouble, Isonomy joined Insulaire, and the pair came right away by themselves. The favourite asBurned the command the moment Cannon shook him up, and won in a canter by two lengths ; Touchet was a very bad third, about a head in advance of Jannette, fourth, and Verneuil trotted in.
